St. Simon Blog
St. Simon goes online! Not only at friendster but also through blog! We decided to make one last Thursday I guess, if I'm not mistaken. Well, there's no primary reason why we made such. It's just that we want to make an account of the bondings we have made.
How many times have I said that I really, really love this section? Huh! Can't remember! I really love the composition of my classmates. Boys aren't mayabang and girls are not that maarte. Just right to make an unforgettable section. Yeah, I mean it. It's really unforgetable.
Well, if you want to read our accounts, you're very much invited! Hope you'll enjoy. St. Simon's Blog
Btw, it's our distribution of cards today. And because yesterday was raining and pools were made out of the roads, we didn't have classes. So today, we went to school to fix our room and to decorate it. Well, we made a nicie job! (hehehe, I'm not being biased ha!)
Uhmm, these are my grades. And I promise to improve it. It's just that this first grading that not into serious study! N.B. Our school's highest possible grade: 95. Our grading system really gives a low score compared to others but the standard- I'm not bragging the name of our school, St. Joseph's Academy Las Pinas- but it's high. Religion- 87 (sooo holy huh!)
Filipino- 85
English- 83 (I love this subject, but di ko feel ang Sentence patterns!)
Math- 76 (I know that I'm not born as a math whiz! So, tangganp ko!)
Physics- 75 (the damn physics! at least I passed, right?! Yippee!)
Ap- 85
TLE (Comp. and Statistics)- 81 Mapeh- 87 (uhmmm...)
Ep- 93 ( that's really something, huh!)
Conduct- 88 (sa mga katabi kong maingay, naka 88 pa ko! hehehe!)
This is it! hey, don't forget to drop by our blog ha? http://stsimon0506.blogspot.com/ in case you want to link it!

DOPPSA Opening
The Diocese of Parañaque's Parochial Schools Association or DOPPSA was held in our school last Friday, September 9, 2005. Our school was the host for the year's event. Whoo! Nice!
At first, I was hesitant to attend the opening but I'm needed there as an officer- I mean class officer. But I'm glad I did. I ushered St. Andrew's School but supposedly mine was Veritas Parochial School.
We were dismissed early. So Mara and I ate at McDo. We had an alay lakad! And OMG! I didn't realize that McDo Kabihasnan was sooo far from our school! I'm perspiring a lot when we enter McDo!
What's so funny is that when I saw a bus full of varisities, I knew that they will come for the DOPPSA. But we weren't sure if it's Veritas or what. Then I started waving my hands not looking at them. I was astonished when Mara said, "Uy! Kumakaway din!!". I looked back, truly, one was waving!
We oath to look for that guy when we reach school. After the parade and the opening ceremony, we started looking for him. We went to SJA hall then to the Boy's quad. When we realized the badluck, we went back to the Nipa Hut near our classroom. We saw Joei talking at two cute boys from Veritas. I was hesitant at first to ask who the guys where but I decided to do so. And what a coincidence! They were the guys who waved at us! With the excitement, we asked their names then I took pictures with them. Although you can't see it now because I'm too lazy to upload the pic in my photobucket to tag here.
All in all, I didn't regret coming up there. Besided, it's my last year at school. And I should make the most out of it. Go Josephians!

Two Memorable Days
I can't believe it! Because at the start, even at the previous days, there wasn't a single trace of victory. Not even a morsel.
During practices bonding time, playing 123 pass and partying were more evident than Broadway practices, except the night practices huh. I fancy winning but the thought of it was out of line- if this was our case.
But it is so surprising! Winning the BROADWAY, Defeating the best section, Making history! Ohhhh! It was sooo Overwhelming to hit the prize! Actually, I was anticipating Peter to win but SAN SIMON flowed out from the mouth of Ms. Padicio- one of the judges! And of course, jumping, yelling, crying and screaming wasn't enough for us to express how we really feels inside.
THE BROADWAY ITSELF: Yeah, the broadway itself was superb! Audience shreiked, cheered and laughed till they cry their heart out! It was the best of all performances we had. We really gave our best! And it was all worth it! The genies- ohhh wow! They really made the audience laughed and ooohed with admiration. The choir- yes, they move in perfect motion. The girls- yeah, they danced their best. The other characters- they inserted some impromtu scenes with no heck! And me- I did my best...
Because we won, we will perform at the following day atSJA hall. Of course, our performance today wasn't the same as yesterday. But we made the audience laughed and happy- of course!
But oh glory! We also won for the overall, the DAYORAMA contest! Thank you Lord! It was more than we expected! whooo!
ST. Simon batch 05- 06>> Champion>> Broadway and Dayorama for the Linggo ng Wika.
Tomorrow, will never be the same as those three weeks of practices. No more asking of time. No more props making. No more free time. No more 123 pass. No more nerve shaking sensations. No more practices. But as long as I live, these are times that I'll really cherish. All of IV- St. Simon. All of it. I'm glad that He put me there. And I'm proud of it!
GO SAN SIMON! Make your mommy proud!

Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
Cinderella- the name my parents and relatives used to call me when I was small. Cindy- shortcut of Cinderella. Sheena- yeah, my hackneyed name! Sheng- short from Sheena Veronica- no one calls me like this at present Chinggay- the name given to me by my childhood bestfriend LavenderCrunch- my code name made by myself in our tropa! Sheens- what some of my Josephian classmates call me Ganda- what a reaction! This is what they used to call me at first in the store. Ate- yup. Another calling in the store. SheenaTots- I don't know why...WHY? SheenaBebe- because I'm the only sixteen, I guess, in the store.
