Case Study plus Mini-Thesis plus...equals Waaah!
...Cognitive Dissonance Theory Report (blame it on my virus-infested USB Flash drive) + Radio Porgram (for Speech) + critique of PETA's Batang Rizal + 50 commonly misprononounced words by Filipinos + Brochure for Photography+ Essay about Fastrack to Poverty + Research on Ecclessia in Asia + Org work and following-up of proposals + LASALLIAN FESTIVAL+ deadline of all these is next week + a whole lot more=Waaaah! Yeah. Great! Yesterday, during lunch, I told Gras, Misha, Hannah and Martha something like this, "last night I wrote all the things that we are to do and I counted almost 5 (the others was not listed in my notebook) and I told myself, hindi naman pala gaano kadami ang gagawin naten" The they stared like "are you DRUGS?!?!!" So I retracted, "I did not count the degree of heavniness of the works." On the bright side, it is Lasallian Days! Three days of all play...that is, "or so you thought!" Aside from org works, we allotted this "playtime" to school work in which we seemed to progress very slowly. Yeah. Great. And after all this fuss, it will be MIDTERMS EXAM again. May just be the force be with us.

At Least I Can Run In Heels
Dear Diary, Got through a lot of things this week and my limbs are aching. I also feel like I’m a Chinese times two. Jan. 14, Monday Ate Lye texted us asking who might want to fix the proposals for the upcoming semester. Our third year COM EB’s are so much busy with their shoot and all. The second year JOU (Broadcast Journalism) appointees are also busy with their Radio Productions as well. So the reason why there is a need to tap other members for the three proposals. Suppose that I just got tired of being passive that I volunteered to be one. I find it also exciting. I want and need to learn all these, I thought. I asked my co-members, at the same time blockmates, to help me fill in the needed six. I felt somehow assured that they would also love to. Whoa! Almost all of them are not yet done interviewing a company, an NGO, and a educational institution for Organizational Communication. Good thing Maxine and her group were. And so are we who interviewed Dakki Direct Sales Thursday, the week before this. (Got a free Spongebob Squarepants calendar!) Great. At least I got Maxine. I thought that since we are only two, we are to make only one. Two heads per proposal, right? But I got surprised when, since we failed in luring others, we are to fix all. When I got home at 9:15, I started the bunch that I have ahead. Jan. 15, Tuesday Lunch: I just laughed and laughed and procrastinated the fixing of proposals until dismissal. Anyways, Maxine and her groupmates will practice Dubbing due tomorrow. Dismissal: -Dubbing Practice -Still to fix, to type, to download, to let papers be signed and to run for the proposals due tomorrow, Wednesday at 6pm. I excused myself from helping my Dubbing mates, Mars, Grace and Misha, to transcribe our lines. I headed of to ERS to download, edit and print some papers that I was not able to finish the night before. But sine I don’t have and E-cash, I cannot print the documents inside the school. So, I went out the campus. It was past 3. By 4pm, I have to find our org adviser to sign some papers so I ran instead of walking. My pants are somehow tight and I’m wearing heels. I ran from ERS going outside the campus then when I came back, I have to go to CBA210 to let Sir Michael sign papers, then to the Alumni Building for the president to sign the papers, then back to JFH. After all the running and the managing of not to stumble despite my heels and the shiny floors of the buildings, I was able to finish some papers. When I went back to my groupmates, we started to dub The Devil Wears Prada. Jan. 16, Wednesday The BOOM day! (Sounds like DOOMSDAY to me) Max and I went to school early. Have to let sign some papers still, then I have to walk from Gate1 going to GMH and climb the second floor just to find out that the CSO office is still closed so, I went back to JFH again, still for signing. Imagine the walk and the sweat. My foot was already aching because my doll shoes is fitted. I thought I’d have an easy time since I’m on flats. I also had a hard time running because my skinny jeans is so skinny. Lunch: Ms. Matilla was with us during lunch and she gave us puto-bung-bong and fried banana. Beofre we continued to practice for dubbing, Mars accompanied me to the CSO office to get the papers that I need. Dismissal: Running and cramming galore still. I was freaking nervous because the advertisement for the proposal is still with Irish and Graccey and we still need some papers to be signed. I thought it will really be doomsday! It was already almost 5:30 and the SDAO closes at 6pm. At last, Irish texted and soon they showed up with the ad! Wooh! Jan. 17, Thursday -Midterm Exam in PE -Test in Logic -Test in REED -Unnecessary commotion for we thought that the online quiz in OrgCom will be due today. Although our proposals were already passed, we still need to give an invitation letter for our speaker in Nihonggo Seminar. And darn, we need signatures still. Max went to our president and I went to the library to research these: -Moods and Forms of Syllogism -Cognitive Dissonance Theory for our report in OrgCom for Tuesday. -The encyclical Ecclesia in Asia I was not able to find the latter in OPAC so I chucked off the idea of finding it at the moment. At 4, we need to see Sir Michael again for the last signature. When we went there, there was nobody. Anyways, we went to the Alumni Building to reserve Alumni Conference Hall B. But the reservations for March will only begin in February. Today, Friday. For the University break, I am still having a dilemma. Am I to attend what? -Hosting Seminar -LA Learns French Seminar (in 3 sessions) Well, my classes this day are still about to begin.

Bruised
I got myself bruised yesterday because of that reckless driver. He drives as if he owns the road and as if he is flying. Well, to tell him, his vehicle is not an airplane. Darn him.
It was like this: While he was "flying", he nearly hit another vehicle in front. Newton's Third Law of Motion: Reaction, states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. When he instantaneously stopped, the equal reaction was for my right shoulder to hit the steelbar. And what's more? A stout girl was next beside me, making me a human sandwhich. The opposite reaction was glorious. She was taken back to her original position. I was aching after though I never thought that I'll be bruised. It was only this morning when we had lunch that I found out that I have one as big as my thumb. If my Auntie didn't nudge me, I wouldn't know. Guess until now.
Bottomline is: Our lives are in the hands of those people around us. In this case, the driver. If he wants to die, let him be without harming anyone. (Well of course, I don't mean this. But let me add something still...) Or, does he want to pay for our hospital expenses and be jailed all at the same time? Nevertheless, though bruised, I'm glad that nothing went wrong. Thanks to Him. Well, we just need to be extra cautious everytime. Not to mention some other culprits out there. To name one, snatchers. Haha.

Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
Cinderella- the name my parents and relatives used to call me when I was small. Cindy- shortcut of Cinderella. Sheena- yeah, my hackneyed name! Sheng- short from Sheena Veronica- no one calls me like this at present Chinggay- the name given to me by my childhood bestfriend LavenderCrunch- my code name made by myself in our tropa! Sheens- what some of my Josephian classmates call me Ganda- what a reaction! This is what they used to call me at first in the store. Ate- yup. Another calling in the store. SheenaTots- I don't know why...WHY? SheenaBebe- because I'm the only sixteen, I guess, in the store.
