Youth Encounter# 7 Class Alphabet
Y.E. Class no. 7 for any stranger is just a combination of letters and a number with a meaning yet unknown to him. For the FRM Community, it is a representation for a group of teenagers who alredy had their Youth LSS (Life in the Spirit Seminar) and graduated from an Encounter Weekend. For us, in this class, its "sugar and spice and verything nice". Want to know more? Get a closer look at the FRM's latest YE (Youth Encounter) sponsors through our candid and comical ABC.
Awesome. Having experienced to sponsor a Youth Encounter weekend is really "an affair to remember."
Bonding. No need for adhesives cause we stick together like gum on hair. Too sticky for comfort sometimes though...
Candidates. The way we were (awww...) Sponsors, is Y.E.# 8 better than Y.E.# 7? NO!!! No comparison!
Dewberry. The official biscuit of the sponsoring class. There is one in every pocket for a growling stomach.
Expressions. Whatever! As if! Duh! Feeling! Yuck! And many more. Be heard- your voice with the expression of your voice.
Frio Mixx. Favorite place to get fat before, during and after reunions.
Gorgeous. Y.E.# 7 girls are beautiful inside and out! (Ang tumutol panget!) Whether at work or play, they will surely take your breath away.
Harana. As long as we get the touching message across, nobody cared if one sang like a frog (Wonder who? Hehehe!)
Issues. What's there to know? For hearsays about us visit our website at www.Goddoesn'tlikegossip.com[domain name and url not registered-editor, and I (Sheena) am not the editor]
Joke time. We did not run short of it and never will. Anytime, anywhere, we will always find a way to laugh.
Kakulitan. Everybody has his /her own "pasaway" moments. Kawawa naman si Ate Joyce and Kuya August.
Love. If this is absent, we will all be sporting bruises, lacerations, burns, etc. In a nutshell, there is no havoc cause there is LOVE. Thank God, its present!
Music. Voice, guitar, keyboard, violin. Name it and you'll be surprised all can have a share of his/ her talent for the service of God.
Naughty. When the cat is away, the mice will play! Uhmmm...Sorry for the misbehavior.
Oppressions. Oh man. Nuff said...
Picture taking. Strike a pose! Could be future commercial models?!?...for insect repellant products!(To see some of our pics click here- Sheena)
Quiet. The antonym for the adjective so suited for Y.E.#7. (shhh...don't say it loud.)
Reunions. We were such mushrooms for appearing and vanishing every meeting. Nevertheless, we cherished the times we were complete...and incomplete.(A bit guilty of this, hahaha- Sheena)
Solicitations. Who said money matters make us miserable? The Lord provides! Thanks for everybody's generosity!
Texting. Effects of non-stop communication between gals and guys: calloused thumbs and bloodshot eyes.
Unity. One mind, one heart, one soul. Everything we do is for the Glory of God. Amen!
Vigil. "Please let us pray". No response. "Please let us pray." No reaction. "LET US PRAY!! ! In the name of the Father...(One of my memorable moments there was the Vigil hours! Hahaha- Sheena)
Wow! It is beyond our modesty (Meron ba tayo nun?) to speak our feats. But if everyone knew, this is the first exclamation from every lips.
Xerox. Copy this, copy that, copycat! Great help for pressured working people.
Youthful. Bouyant+ fresh+ vigorous= US (Sige na nga, pati na rin yung mga "young at hearts")(Deretsuhin mo na..sila Kuya August at Ate Joyce diba? I thought this is candid. -Sheena)
Zealous. No other way to describe our service to God. Hope we will still be eager in the Singles' Ministry?!? (See you sa singles!)
No doubt, we will still be a million things to different people even after being familiar with us through our alphabet. But one thing we know for sure, in the sight of God whom we serve.. Y.E. Class#7 spells G-R-E-A-T!!!

|Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
Cinderella- the name my parents and relatives used to call me when I was small.
Cindy- shortcut of Cinderella.
Sheena- yeah, my hackneyed name!
Sheng- short from Sheena
Veronica- no one calls me like this at present
Chinggay- the name given to me by my childhood bestfriend
LavenderCrunch- my code name made by myself in our tropa!
Sheens- what some of my Josephian classmates call me
Ganda- what a reaction! This is what they used to call me at first in the store.
Ate- yup. Another calling in the store.
SheenaTots- I don't know why...WHY?
SheenaBebe- because I'm the only sixteen, I guess, in the store.
