...and that is of course, to read.
Huh. Blimey! I never thought that it will pile up that much! Am I that sluggish?Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
The book I bought at National Bookstore
ages ago: April of 2003. And still, since summer of 2005, idle Sheena haven't finished it yet. Worst, I wasn't even on half!
But can you blame me if I feel that it's too rustic? It is subtle and was written in a skillful way but the chapters are too long and it is named only with numbers. But I do promise to finish it. Maybe not now, maybe sooner. The money I used to buy it is mine and it will be such a big waste if I'll let it rot like a trash.
Next was Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Spinner's End. That's the farthest I've read. I'm already dying to finish it but time is scarce. Anyways, I will be able to read this after Don Quixote by Miguel Servantes Saavedra.
This will be for our Book Report No. 3
(and it's ironic that Movie Analysis No. 4: Helen of Troy
will be submitted ahead of it) and the book my mom bought in for Php 295.00 at National was unabridge and it is thick.
Luckily, or can you call it lucky, I saw The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
in our library and I'm super excited to read it. That's why the others will be next in line. Glad Ms. Morales
moved our due of the report to Feb. 16. And I'm calling all the saints in heaven to help me finish all those rubbish!!!
Well, I'm not yet finished. I'm PLANNING to buy Memoirs of A Geisha
and find the first installment of The Chronicles of Narnia.
And I forgot what it is. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardorbe is the second installment. Adn I want to read Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice.
Well, I'm beggining to like Alexander Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo
and I want to buy it!
To worsen the worms in me, I want to read Shakespeare's Othello
, Antony and Cleopatra
and The Merchant Of Venice
. Huuuuuuh. When will I finish all these?! And I'm not even joking! I'm serious. I'm going to read all these...in due time!
And by the way...
...thanks to Kace, Lee and Carla for their solace written at my Comments. I feel better now, and what happened to me is a thing in the past. =)
|Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
