Last week, from 17- 19, we had this so called Lasallian Days.
It wasn't actually a super free days since we were obliged to attend some classes and some alternatives. But in general, it is a free day and overdue wash days.
Here's a recapitulation of the things that we did. Plus, plus, awards.
First Day: One best word to summarize it, boring. Maybe because we didn't join activities but still, it was what it was. After 8am, we had our lunch. Funny because it was so early to be called lunch. And after that, tumambay lang kami sa dorm nila Shiela at Vea.
Second Day: Still, we didn't attend activities but before the day ended, we had this practice for tomorrow's presentation for the College Day. Some of the girls practiced a dance in which I don't know the title. It was supposed to be seductive- so I'm out of it. For the participation of the whole class, we had this Highschool Musical style of our very own Blue Jeans.
On the course of the practice, there was even a misunderstanding and some petty sort of a quarrel between toot and toot. But before we ended the dance session, everything went back to normal as if nothing happened. And to say, the practice was super fun.
On the afternoon of this same day, Dez and Shaira were making prank jokes to boys who will pass by near SBC. First Practical Joke: Samahan si Kuya at kaibiganin. Note: Dapat di naka earphones o nag cecellphone. 2nd Practical Joke: Paringgan si kuya na kunwari patay na patay to death ka sa kanya sabay si Shai, yung isa ang type. 3rd Practical Joke: Turuan si Kuya magswimming, di sa pool kundi now na na walang water. One of their benefactor for the free actual swimming lesson was Ma'am Allada. She even said, "May ginagaya ba kayong prof?" But all the way, we were just laughing (with matching tears of joy) that it was even obvious for some that we were playing jokes on them.
Third Day: At 9am we were at PLS for the CLA College Day. Some of the freshmen presentation was not as a class in which we know it should be. When it was our turn, we was just so nervous that we didn't know why given that it is a class presentation. While we danced Blue Jeans in front of the audience, we made numerous mistakes that I even hear some of my classmates chastising our own. But when we made our exit, we had this score of 5 5 4, five being the highest. After the Faculty Idol and Student Idol, we were declared winner and we had loads of Samba as a price and a free lunch due next week. Plus, free college pins.
Next at 2pm was the Mardi Gras and Belt Competition as part of our Media Awareness Days. We had Mars and Third to represent our block. The competiton between the boys was not that scary because it will not be that hard to declare the winner. But for the Mardi Gras, unang dalawa palang, ulam na! Their costumes were really scarry, not that it was intended to scare, stupid, but, I was afraid for Mars that she might not go with our previous glories. (Jelly won in the GA of Com students, so was Sarahlyne as Ms. AB Com `06 and Gladys as 3rd placer in Jazz Up Your Jeans and we were just first yeaaars! No contest lost, I think.) In the end, we were so happy because Mars won as The Best Model! At may libre pa kami...tenk yu!
And after that at past 7pm, we attended (for our first time) our alternative class for REEd. We had this concert at the oval and it was worth the staying late at night.
>Next time attend activities if you don't want to get bored.
>Eat lunch in time or near the time!
>Don't scream that much, tonsils will ache.
|Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
