Happy New Year!
Boom! Boom! Happy New Academic Year!
*Hugs and Kisses*
Okay, fun is over. You may now take a seat and listen to our new professors. Here they come!
Prof. # 1… bingo! Is he a he or a she? A she or a he? Our Art Appreciation (Humanities) professor/a, Mr./Ms. Jovito Santos Jr.! Well, I am not making fun of his/her sexual preference (am I not?) because I bow before this professor. Never will we have a dull moment in class. At the same time, we won’t sacrifice the quality of his/her teaching.
Next on the line in our Certificate of Registration is prof. #2… bingo! Our Performing Arts professor, well, honestly, I am not sure if she is Ms. Rosanni Recreo- Sarile, the chair of Communication Arts Department and Museong La Salle. She looks very corporate and I guess she really shouts so better not err. I cannot help but feel nervous about our upcoming stints with her although I think that she is good and her credential is really something. What I just simply do not like is that- utang na loob (what is that in English?)- it’s just our first meeting but she already gave us loads of assignments and research. On the bright side (no, I am not the girlfriend of a Sex God), we have Tanghalang Julian Felipe as our laboratory! I never knew that before.
Next, prof. # 3...bingo! is our Intro to Journalism professor and the adviser of COM1&2 students, Ms. Cachuela. Uhm, actually, she uses some words that although I am familiar with, I don’t exactly know the meaning. Silly me. I guess I need to bring a dictionary every COMM145 class. No, just kiddingJ.
Our Computer Application prof, Ms. Emelyn Dave- Mayuga is sure is fun. I actually love her sweet banters. However, she threatened that she will cut my hands because she saw it moving the mouse on top of the monitor (and it actually fell afterwards). Nevertheless, it is fun to navigate using keyboard techniquesJ.
Ms. Puzon, prof. #5…bingo! Yes, our Intro to DLSU- D and Career Pathing professor and now for Com Arts and Skills 2 (Research; much like, according to Grace, our FILI123) I have been telling Mars that I bow on how sharp her memory is. We only met her twice a sem for our Intro subjects but every time we greet her inside the campus, she recognizes us. “Oh, my Intro students!”
Dr. Marcial R. Verocel next for our Retorika. According to Desiree, he is “Missing in Progress.” I also think so.
Next is P.E., Individual and Dual Games. We are yet to meet him next Tuesday.
Next ball, chair of Religious Education Department and our Morality professor, Henry L. Bernardo, EdD (I just saw this in our syllabus. EdD means Doctor of Education?) Well, we heard from sir JC last sem that this is going to be fun!
Last but definitely not the least (esp. in terms of looks), Mr. Jessie Atienza, our Philippine Government and New Constitution, or simply Consti, professor. Whew! I am glad that we are free from Sir Ballesteros who happens to teach the subject’s prerequisite!
Well, almost all of them are saying that to have a COM class means that the students are maaarte. Go, if that is what they want to think:P.
In terms of the sched., we are much more blessed now than our previous MWF: 7-5, TTH: 7- 2:30 sched. At least for me because definitely our M: 9-3, T: 7:30-4, W: 7- 6 (can be extended up to 8 or higher), TH: 10- 4 and F: 7-3 sched does not require us to wake up too early everyday although we have a worse Wednesday break.
In terms of irregular classmates, I love to have those Koreans. We’re actually befriending Ashley and Lam (she doesn’t have an English name), both from our Computer class.
Well, that’s it- my assessment as of yesterday. Have a blessed academic year everyone! We must be really good this time because at the end of the year, we’ll have a qualifying exam. Pray that we all pass!
|Ma. Veronica Sheena Valencia de Gonzales y Tan de Prieto. That is the FULLEST of my name, no less. Unless I'd
be indolent to write, then that will be Sheena Valencia, and that's how my name goes in school, everywhere!...Sinking in historically, I was born by the date of July 28 and I'm 16. It
was Makati Medical Center who witnessed the 1st sign of my breathing. Now I'm here in flesh at Las Piñas to continue the journey of my life. It's not perfect...but it's great!
I love writing. Although I must admit that I'm not that splendid. I love blogging, chatting, reading- and I don't mean textbooks-
speaking- or if you mean orating, well fine!- and sleeping! (Well, actually all of these and more are written down there , so I need not elaborate.) Aesthetically, I'm pretty fine as well as emotionally. Now, sinking in personally. I'm erratic and
aggressive but patient. I'm a comic and I love to laugh but I have exceptions. I'm driven by moods of others but I always try not to be. I want justice incessantly but I must admit that sometimes I'm biased. I'm naughty but I know how to follow. If I seem to be dark and sinister...don't be anxious...there are tons (and majority) of my being is angelic.
Currently, I'm a senior- and my height doesn't say so!- highschool student of St. Joseph's Academy and I'm enjoying it! Soooo much! It's superb! There are fuss and flaws but really, it's Supercalifragilistic Expialidocious! BUT on the looming AY to come, I will be
in college! Burden is- I don't want to leave SJA so soon! Can I (and we) just repeat? *scowls
(Inserted: Aug. 12, 06)But...that current up there is archaic because at this point, I'm already in college at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. Meaning, the dream of repeating will just be a dream and will never come true because I'm already here. And I must enjoy what I have because there will be no turning back since I have decided to say everytime I fall, "Standout Josephian!" What a smile it brings me...
...I go by...
Cinderella- the name my parents and relatives used to call me when I was small.
Cindy- shortcut of Cinderella.
Sheena- yeah, my hackneyed name!
Sheng- short from Sheena
Veronica- no one calls me like this at present
Chinggay- the name given to me by my childhood bestfriend
LavenderCrunch- my code name made by myself in our tropa!
Sheens- what some of my Josephian classmates call me
Ganda- what a reaction! This is what they used to call me at first in the store.
Ate- yup. Another calling in the store.
SheenaTots- I don't know why...WHY?
SheenaBebe- because I'm the only sixteen, I guess, in the store.
